I have decided to use a blog for the Scotty Mac Basketball website because it is easily accessible, easily updated and very convient for everyone.Scotty Mac Basketball Camps is a grassroots co-ed basketball camp that allows basketball players within Southern Alberta to enhance their individual skills while enjoying the wonderful game of basketball. With our elite coaches and passion for the game the Scotty Mac Basketball Camp will be a truly enjoyable experience for all participants.

Credentials: A five year full scholarship to the University of Lethbridge, Three years Captain of the Team, National Coaching Levels 1 and 2, Hardest Working Pronghorn 2001, University of Lethbridge Men's Basketball MVP 2004-2007, Canada Games Bronze Medalist, B.C. Summer Games Silver Medalist, Basketball B.C. Team member 1998-2000, Alberta Provincial Team Member 2001. Top Ten Scorer in Canada West League play. Top 15 in all time total points scored in history of University of Lethbridge. Best import two years in Visayan Basketball League (Philippines).
Assistant Coach: Richard Steed
Richard has excelled as the pronghorns captain and inspirational leader this year. A tremendously heady Player, he understands the game extremely well. A pass first point guard, Richard’s unselfishness and team play are a vital asset to the pronghorns. Richard excelled as a dual sport athlete at Dr. E.P. Scarlett high school in Calgary leading both the volleyball and basketball teams to numerous provincial championships. From their he moved on to the horns where his intelligent decision making, pin point passes, athletic drives and vocal leadership have directed the horns for the past three seasons. Entering his fourth year of eligibility big things are expected from Richard this season as well as the emerging horns. Having worked extremely hard on his jump shot, Richard will control games at will and distribute the ball keeping all teammates immensely happy. An inspiration for any vertically challenged player, Richard is molded in a Steve Nash esk manner and his lighting foot speed helps him to defend furiously. Scotty Mac Basketball Camps are tremendously happy to have Richard working with us and wish him good luck next year.
